Welcome to Solavello. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Solavello mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

This document includes additional terms for EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland residents where required by law.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Solavello. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration and Security

Solavello uses Sign in with Apple for account registration and login.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and account access. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@solavelloapp.com.

4. App Features (High-Level)

Solavello is a travel-oriented check-in and presence app for solo travelers. Features may include:

Solavello has no in-app messaging (no DMs) and no matching.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

5. User Content and License

5.1 Your Content

You may submit content such as Traveler's Plans, profile information, and optional photos you upload (collectively, "User Content").

You are responsible for your User Content and must ensure it does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws.

5.2 License to Operate the App

You grant Solavello a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the App and to enforce safety and integrity.

This license ends when your User Content is deleted from the App or when your account is deleted, except where retention is required for legal, safety, or abuse-prevention purposes.

You agree not to:

We may remove content and take enforcement action (including suspension) if we believe there is a violation.

7. Safety Tools (Block / Report)

You may block other users and report content or behavior you believe is abusive, unsafe, or violates these Terms.

We may review reports and take action, including removing content, restricting functionality, suspending accounts, or terminating access. We are not obligated to act on every report, but we aim to maintain a safe environment.

8. Subscriptions and Purchases

8.1 Billing

The App may offer paid features (including subscriptions and/or time-limited passes). Billing is handled by Apple via your Apple ID, and subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat.

8.2 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

8.3 Time-Limited Passes

If the App offers a time-limited pass (e.g., a 48-hour pass), it grants access to paid features for the specified duration as described in the App.

8.4 Refunds

Refunds are subject to Apple's policies. Solavello does not control Apple's refund decisions and does not provide partial refunds for unused time.

8.5 Pricing and Changes

Prices may vary by region and may change. If required by law or platform policy, we will provide notice of changes.

9. Availability, Changes, and Service Integrity

We strive to keep the App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or factors outside our control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account using the in-app account deletion feature where available. You may also contact support@solavelloapp.com for assistance.

Account deletion may remove your profile and associated User Content, subject to limited retention for legal compliance, safety review, and abuse prevention.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

12. Disclaimers

Solavello is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Solavello is designed to support optional offline interaction in shared public spaces. You are responsible for your own safety and judgment in real-world interactions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solavello and the Operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.

In jurisdictions where liability limitations are not fully permitted, liability will be limited to the minimum extent allowed by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice in the App where required.

Your continued use of the App after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

If you reside in the EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland, the following also applies:

16. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

17. Withdrawal / Consent

Where processing is based on consent (e.g., certain optional features), you may withdraw consent through your device settings or by contacting support@solavelloapp.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal.

You may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority regarding privacy matters (see our Privacy Policy for details).
